Contact Grout Atlas
On this page
Grout Atlas is reachable by email. We read every message, and reader questions regularly shape new guides and improvements to existing ones. Before you write, the notes below explain which address to use and what kinds of requests we can help with.
Email addresses
- General questions and feedback: hello@groutatlas.com
- Errors and corrections: corrections@groutatlas.com
Using the right address helps your message reach the right review process. Correction reports are handled under our corrections policy.
What we welcome
- Questions that could become guides. If you searched for something about grout and could not find a clear answer here, tell us what you were trying to figure out. Common questions become new guides or new FAQ entries.
- Corrections. A number that looks wrong, a misquoted standard, an unclear safety note or a calculator result that does not add up. Include the page URL, the statement and a source if you have one.
- Data sheet updates. Manufacturers and readers are welcome to point us to a current technical data sheet (TDS) or safety data sheet (SDS) when a product category's published data has changed. We weigh this information under our editorial standards; it does not buy coverage or placement.
- Suggestions for tools and data. Ideas for new calculators or reference tables, or improvements to the existing tools and research pages.
- Site problems. Broken links, pages that do not display correctly, or accessibility issues.
What we cannot help with
- Diagnosing a specific job remotely. Photos and descriptions rarely show what is happening beneath the tile: substrate movement, waterproofing, moisture or a leak. We cannot reliably diagnose an individual installation by email. The grout problems section and the grout problem diagnoser are designed to help you work through symptoms yourself, and a qualified professional can inspect the work in person.
- Recommending contractors or installers. We do not refer, rate or vet contractors.
- Recommending a specific brand. We explain grout categories and what to look for on a data sheet; the grout types section and the grout type selector can help you narrow the choice.
- Warranty claims, disputes or product complaints. These belong with the manufacturer, the seller or the installer.
- Paid placement or sponsored content. Grout Atlas does not sell coverage, rankings or links.
If you see active water damage, a leak, soft or moving subfloor, or tiles that are cracking along with the grout, do not wait on an email reply. Stop using the area if needed and have it assessed by a qualified professional. Our guide to grout that stays wet or dark explains the warning signs.
What to expect after you write
We read every message, but we cannot promise a personal reply to each one or a specific response time. Correction reports are prioritized because they affect what other readers see. Questions that suggest a gap in the site may be answered by a new or updated page rather than an individual email.
A helpful message is short and specific: the page you were reading (if any), what you were trying to do, and the product category involved. Please do not send sensitive personal information. How we handle the information you send is described in our privacy policy.
